Garden Roots

The First Pour Circle

Welcome, dear one. You are holding the very first pour of this set — before it goes anywhere else, it comes to you. What you share here shapes what goes out into the world.

Please share your feedback by Saturday, May 9th

The Story of Garden Roots

Two women taught these hands. Nannie — who worked the land for nearly a century, who knew that everything good comes from the ground, who planted for provision and tended with purpose.

And her daughter, who taught a slightly different kind of growing — flowers in careful rows and pots, herbs tucked along the edges. The garden as a place of beauty as much as sustenance.

One rooted you. The other reminded you to look up and share with the world. This set holds them both. All natural.

No. 01 — Into The Garden

Goat Milk Soap Bar

Rosemary · Cedarwood · Eucalyptus · French Green Clay

This is the bar that takes you into the garden. Hands in the earth. The green and the grit of growing things. Rosemary carries the herbal heart, cedarwood grounds it in warm wood, and eucalyptus lifts it all with a fresh green breath. French green clay draws the day off your skin without stripping it.

Goat milk is the foundation — it always is, in this line. Creamy, gentle, forgiving.

  • Goat Milk — creamy foundation
  • Olive Oil — conditioning base
  • Coconut Oil — cleansing & bubbles
  • Shea Butter — creamy lather
  • Cocoa Butter — hardness & skin-softening
  • Castor Oil — lather booster
  • Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) — saponifier (none remains in finished bar)
  • Rosemary Essential Oil — earthy, herbal
  • Cedarwood Essential Oil — woody base note
  • Eucalyptus Essential Oil — fresh lift
  • French Green Clay — earthy tone & gentle draw
  • Dried Rosemary Leaf — top décor
How to use Wet the bar, work into hands or a cloth, and let the creamy lather do the work. Rinse well. Keep the bar on a draining dish between uses so it lasts. For best results, let it dry fully between washes — goat milk bars love a little rest.
What to pay attention to Lather (creamy or bubbly?), how your skin feels right after (tight or soft?), and how the scent changes from wet to dry.
No. 02 — After The Garden

Whipped Body Buttercream

Rosemary · Eucalyptus · Natural Frangrance

This is what comes after. Hands washed. Sitting still. The garden settling into memory. The rosemary softens. The eucalyptus whispers. Natural frangrance warms it all into a dry-down that lingers through the day.

Underneath the scent, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate — a stable form of Vitamin C — works quietly. No fuss. Just care, just time doing its work on skin. The way Nannie did.

  • Shea Butter — heart of the formula
  • Cocoa Butter — melts on skin contact
  • Avocado Oil — rich, nourishing
  • Sweet Almond Oil — silky slip
  • Jojoba Oil — skin-balancing
  • Sage-Infused Jojoba — herbal infusion
  • Marshmallow Root-Infused Jojoba — soothing
  • Goat Milk Powder — signature
  • Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate — stable Vitamin C
  • Vitamin E (Tocopherol) — antioxidant
  • Arrowroot Powder — silky dry-down
  • Rosemary Essential Oil — herbal heart
  • Eucalyptus Essential Oil — top note whisper
How to use Scoop a small amount — less than you think — and warm between your palms until it melts into oil. Smooth onto skin just after your shower or bath, while skin is still slightly damp for best absorption. A 4oz jar lasts longer than you'd expect. Keep jar closed and away from direct heat.
What to pay attention to How it feels going on (greasy or absorbs fast?), how your skin feels an hour later, and whether the scent stays with you through the day.

Used Together

The soap takes you into the garden. The buttercream is what comes after. The rosemary softens. The green settles to warmth.

Try them together at least once during your testing — we want to know if the story holds.

Your Feedback, Below

The survey below takes about 7–10 minutes. There are no wrong answers. Be honest — that is the whole point of the First Pour Circle.

The last question asks what you feel this set is worth. Answer only if you feel led. No pressure.

If You Feel Led

Sow Into The Vision

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." — Ecclesiastes 9:10

Garden Roots is the first pour of something that has been growing in these hands for a little while now.

If you have read this far, tested these products, and felt something stir — and if you feel led to put a little into the soil with me — there is room for that here.

Every gift goes directly into the launch: more goat milk, more jars, more bars poured, more labels printed, more of the slow careful work of doing this right. You are not buying anything in return. You are simply saying yes to the vision.

A note of transparency

The A.G. Way Legacy is a small, woman-owned LLC — not a non-profit. What you give is a gift of support, not a tax-deductible donation. I want you to know exactly what you are saying yes to.

Give what you feel is worth.

Give what you feel led.

Or give nothing at all — and know your honest feedback was already a gift.

— With gratitude, Phylicxia J.
